Four men broke into a Lexington apartment and held the occupants at gunpoint early Tuesday morning, police said.

It happened about 12:30 a.m. at an apartment in the 3400 block of Lansdowne Drive, police Lt. Raymond Roller said.

The four men, armed with guns, forced their way into the apartment, Roller said. Several people were inside the apartment at the time, he said.

However, it was unclear whether anything was taken during the break-in, and other details remained sketchy, Roller said.

No one was injured, and an investigation continues.
