An argument between a man and his mother Wednesday morning in Pulaski County ended with the son under arrest on several charges.

Jeremiah Harrison, 32, is charged with alcohol intoxication, cultivating marijuana and fourth-degree assault against his mother, according to the sheriff's department.

Deputies said they went to an address on Lakeshore Drive in the Antioch community near Burnside shortly after midnight Tuesday to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance.

They found that Jeremiah Harrison had gotten into a fight with his mother, Karen Harrison, the sheriff's office said.

Karen Harrison suffered a small cut on her head but required no medical treatment, officers said.

Deputies said that as they tried to calm the disturbance, they noticed a marijuana plant growing on the front porch of the home.

Jeremiah Harrison was arrested after admitting that the plant belonged to him, the sheriff's department said.

He was being held in the Pulaski County jail.
