Armed men steal cash from Taylorsville bank

State police in Frankfort are investigating an armed bank robbery that occurred about noon Wednesday in Taylorsville.

Three men entered the People's Bank-Elk Creek Branch on 5511 Taylorsville Road, brandishing handguns and demanding money from the tellers, the state police said. The men stole an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank in a stolen blue 2007 Chevrolet Aveo.
