21-year-old woman killed in collision with log truck in Casey County

A 21-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision late Wednesday in Casey County, Kentucky State Police said.

Amanda Griffin of Hustonville died at the scene when her car crossed the center line of a highway and collided with a log truck, police said.

It happened just before 6 p.m. Wednesday on Ky. 906, about eight miles north of Liberty, according to state police at the Columbia post.

The truck driver, Brian Martin, 35, of Liberty, was wearing a seat belt and was not injured, police said.

Griffin was not wearing a seat belt, officers said.

An investigation is continuing.
