Lexington police were looking Monday for assailants who shot two men Sunday night at an apartment on Armstrong Mill Road.

About 10 p.m. Sunday, police found two men shot, police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said.

The victims reported that three people opened fire with a semiautomatic handgun, police said. One victim had a graze wound to the head; the other possibly had a gunshot wound to the stomach.

At least a dozen shots were fired inside the apartment, Roberts said.

Police had only a vague description on the assailants, she said.
