Lexington police arrested two men early Friday morning after shots were fired late Thursday night during a public disorder at Fifth and Chestnut streets.

No one was shot, but officers called for help as the disorder, reported at 11:47 p.m. Thursday, grew bigger, said Lt. Mark Brand.

Codie V. Calderon, 22, was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and alcohol intoxication.

Cameron Martin, 20, was charged with third-degree assault, failure to disperse and resisting arrest.

Both men were lodged in the Fayette County jail.
