Kentucky men's basketball schedule set for 2014-15

The University of Kentucky's 2014-15 men's basketball schedule is complete.

The Southeastern Conference announced its 18-game schedule Friday evening, filling in the blanks on UK's previously announced non-conference schedule.

All 18 of Kentucky's conference games will appear on national television (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, CBS or SEC Network). Television information and start times for the remainder of the non-conference schedule will be released at a later date.

UK opens its conference schedule at home in Rupp Arena where the Cats are 83-4 overall and 39-3 in league play under sixth-year head coach John Calipari. The league opener is against Mississippi on Jan. 6.

Kentucky's first conference road game is at Texas A&M on Jan. 12.

The Wildcats play two games each against Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Missouri and South Carolina. UK plays one game each against Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

Kentucky wraps up SEC regular-season play March 7 against Florida in Rupp Arena.

The SEC Tournament will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., with the semifinals and championship game being broadcast nationally on ESPN. The SEC Network will televise tournament games the first three days.
