Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown will begin offering three tours in September: The Barton Tradition Tour, the Bushel to Bottle Tour and the 1792 Estate Tour.

The Barton Tradition Tour will be an hour long, giving visitors a look at the distillery's daily processes and inside Warehouse H, a traditional barrel rickhouse built in the 1930s. On the half-hour Bushel to Bottle Tour, visitors follow the bourbon-making process from grain to the bottle, and they get a full look at the fermentation, distillation and bottling processes. On the 1792 Estate Tour, guests walk through what is billed as the world's largest palletized barrel-aging warehouse.

The two-hour motorized tour takes visitors behind the scenes to see the "world's largest whiskey barrel and the barrel-filling and dumping processes. They're also taken to the Tom Moore Spring, where the distillery draws its iron-free limestone water, and more. Reservations are required for that tour.

All tours are free and conclude a complimentary tasting.
