Breeders' Cup names host committee for 2015 at Keeneland

Breeders' Cup on Monday announced the formation of a host committee for the 2015 Thoroughbred world championships at Keeneland, Oct. 30-31.

The host committee will be responsible for creating and coordinating events and activities to supplement the 2015 Breeders' Cup, including hospitality and special programs in the community.

The host committee, chaired by Kip Cornett, will meet Thursday. It includes representatives of media, horse farms, the city, and University of Kentucky, among others. More members will be added, according to a release from the Breeders' Cup.
