Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Monday inside an Anderson County storage unit.

The body of David Kinder, 31, of Lawrenceburg was found inside the storage unit on Bond Lillard Road, said Anderson County Coroner Dr. Mark Tussey.

Tussey said his office was sent to the scene at 2:20 p.m. Monday.

"Apparently the owner of the storage facility had noticed that one of the units was unsecured, unlocked, and opened the door and saw a deceased male," Tussey said. "The body was taken to the medical examiner's officer in Frankfort for an autopsy scheduled for" Tuesday.

The cause of death is still under investigation. "We're in the process of interviewing his family and finding out a little bit about his most recent movements," Tussey said.

Relatives had seen Kinder at about 6:30 a.m. Monday, Tussey said.

Kinder was an employee of Little Caesar's Pizza in Lawrenceburg, Tussey said.
