Chip Cosby's running time gets ESPN attention

Herald-Leader and Kentucky.com football writer Chip Cosby was the subject of ESPN's Pardon the Interruption when one of the hosts noted it was the third anniversary of a challenge issued to Cosby to run a 5:81 at a UK practice.

Here's a clip of the exchange between hosts Tony Kornheiser and Mike Wilbon

UK head football coach Rich Brooks, left, timed Lexington Herald-Leader football reporter Chip Cosby as he ran the 40-yd dash. Cosby ran the dash in 5.81 seconds on the first attempt, 5.84 seconds on his second attempt. Cosby had extended a friendly bet to Brooks that Cosby could run the 40-yd dash in 5 seconds flat. Cosby lost.
