Kentucky sophomore Derrick Jasper will spend the rest of the summer recovering from an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee, but is expected to be ready when practice begins in October, the school announced Monday in a press release.
Jasper underwent surgery Friday morning to clean out loose cartilage. The Paso Robles, Calif.,-native, who started 27 games as a true freshman, is on campus attending summer school.
