Kentucky basketball coach Billy Gillispie, former Arkansas coach Nolan Richardson, ex-UK player Pat Riley and Southern Cal Coach Tim Floyd will headline the list of speakers for the Don Haskins memorial service on Thursday.
The service will honor Haskins, the longtime UTEP coach who died Sunday.
Haskins coached Texas Western to a victory over Kentucky in the 1966 national title game, which pitted a starting five of all black players against a team of all white players. Riley played for UK in that game. Gillispie is a former head coach at UTEP, Floyd was an assistant under Haskins and Richardson played for the hall of fame coach from 1961-63.
The event, which will be at the Don Haskins Center on UTEP's campus, is open to the public and admission is free.
