In the featured $125,000 Grade III Doubledogdare Stakes for fillies and mares, last fall's Spinster Stakes winner, Panty Raid, will make her season's debut. She's 2-for-2 at Keeneland.

Final furlong

Kentucky Derby hopeful Tale of Ekati worked a half-mile at Keeneland in :49.20 Thursday morning. He's the winner of the Wood Memorial, where he defeated War Pass. Eibar Coa will ride Tale of Ekati in the Derby.

• Kodiak Kowboy, at one time a Derby hopeful, now is being pointed instead to the Derby Trial April 26. He recently ran fourth in the Lafayette Stakes at Keeneland.

• Kentucky Oaks contenders training at Keeneland include Country Star (fifth in the Ashland), Eight Belles (winner of the Fantasy at Oaklawn), Golden Doc A (2nd in the Stonerside Beaumont), Highest Class (third in the Bonnie Miss at Gulfstream), and Little Belle (winner of the Ashland).

• Jockey Kent Desormeaux was on fire Thursday, winning three races in a row: the third, fourth, and fifth, and then getting his fourth winner in the final race of the afternoon.
