• Polls are open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time on Tuesday. Anyone in line by 6 p.m. may vote.

• All voters must produce identification or be known by a precinct officer before voting. Types of ID that can be used include driver's license, Social Security card, credit card or another form of ID containing both photo and signature.

• Visit the Voter Information Center at the State Board of Elections' Web site -- www.elect.ky.gov -- to find out whether you are registered to vote, where you vote and your elected representatives.

• You also can check the Web site for a sample ballot for each county and to view the election-night tally.

• If you see any election irregularity, contact Attorney General Jack Conway's office at 1-800-328-8683.
