STANTON, Ky. --
State police have charged a juvenile in connection with a bomb threat against a school system in eastern Kentucky.
The threat on Wednesday prompted officials to search all five schools in Powell County, but police say no explosive device was found.
Powell County Superintendent Lonnie Morris says the suspect was not in school when the threat was called into the local emergency dispatch center around noon.
Police say the youth is charged with terroristic threatening.
Morris says students were moved away from the buildings while authorities searched, then returned to classes and were dismissed at the normal time.
