How to file a complaint

Citizens who suspect that a legislator has violated the state's ethics laws may file a complaint with the Legislative Ethics Commission. Complaints must be signed and notarized and should specify which statutes were broken. Complaints determined to be false can bring criminal penalties.

Complaints may be mailed to the commission at 22 Mill Creek Park, Frankfort, Ky. 40601.

Or call the commission at 502-573-2863 or go to http://www.klec.ky.gov.
