Kentucky supers


Kentucky will have 60 total delegates voting in the Democratic National Convention in Denver this August. Of those, nine will be superdelegates who can choose to back either presidential candidate regardless of the Kentucky primary. So far, three have picked U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton while two have endorsed U.S. Sen. Barack Obama.

The delegates are:

Gov. Steve Beshear: Undeclared.

Moretta Bosley, Owensboro businesswoman and Democratic National Committee member: Clinton

U.S. Rep. Ben Chandler, 6th District congressman from Versailles: Obama

Terry McBrayer, Lexington lawyer and Democratic National Committee member: Clinton

Jennifer Moore, Kentucky Democratic Party Chairman from Louisville: Undeclared

Nathan Smith, Kentucky Democratic Party Vice Chairman from Fort Mitchell: Undeclared

U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth, 3rd District congressman from Louisville: Obama

JoEtta Wickliffe, Harrodsburg banker and Democratic National Committee member: Clinton

The ninth and final Kentucky superdelegate will be selected at the state party's June 7 convention.
