Republic Bank: Emily Miller has been named banking officer - health services for Republic's Perimeter banking center.

Health care

Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center: Jerian Shaw has been named director of patient and community relations for the Richmond medical facility. Scott Jackson has been named director of cardio respiratory care.

Law

McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie & Kirkland: Ryan C. Daugherty and Benjamin Fiechter have been named associates and will practice in the firm's Lexington office. Daugherty will practice in the area of zoning and planning. Fiechter will focus on corporate law and estate planning.

Organizations

Executive Branch Ethics Commission: Angela Logan Edwards, a partner in the law firm of Woodward Hobson & Fulton, has been appointed as a member of the commission, representing the auditor of public accounts.

American Society for Information Science & Technology: Donald Case, a professor in the College of Communications and Information Studies at the University of Kentucky, has been elected president of the society. ASIS&T is a 3,000-member professional society for researchers and practitioners in the information sciences.

Other

Columbia Gas of Kentucky: Larry A. Lewis has been named new business development manager. A 24-year employee of CKY, Lewis most recently served as a gas systems planning technician.
