Engineering

BTM Engineering: Eddie Mesta has been named branch manager for the civil engineering firm's Lexington office and is responsible for client development and project management. The Winchester native was previously technical marketing engineer for Sherman Dixie Concrete Industries.

Nesbitt Engineering: Michael Matt Steen has joined the company as a senior engineering technician. Steen has a degree in geology from the University of Kentucky and has professional experience working for the Kentucky Division of Oil and Gas.

Finance

Central Kentucky Agricultural Credit Association: Jonathan Noe has been named vice president and chief lending officer and will be based at the association's administrative office in Lexington. He is responsible for credit supervision and the overall credit and appraisal functions within the association's 17-county service area.

BB&T: Noreen Jeremiah has joined the bank's East Vine Street location as assistant vice president, senior mortgage loan originator.

Law

Bowles Rice: Ross Lovely and Jeffrey Soukup have joined the law firm's Lexington office. Lovely will practice in the areas of commercial and financial services, energy and environmental law and intellectual property. Soukup has joined the firm's litigation practice group.

Woodward, Hobson & Fulton: Patrick Shane O'Bryan, Anthony Sammons and Kara M. Stewart have been named partners in the firm. O'Bryan practices primarily in litigation with an emphasis on product liability, insurance defense and commercial litigation. Sammons concentrates his practice in the areas of product liability, complex litigation, insurance defense and appellate advocacy. Stewart's practice focuses on product liability defense but also includes commercial litigation, personal injury defense and employment law.

Organization

Kentucky Blood Center: William S. Reed has been named the organization's fifth chief executive officer in its 40-year history. Reed most recently was vice president of community resources for the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center in San Antonio.

Christian Benevolent Outreach: Vicki Woodruff has joined Sayre Christian Village as director of human resources.

Commonwealth Fund for KET Northern Kentucky: Helen Carroll, manager of community relations for Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing in Erlanger, has been named to the regional board of directors, which assists the network with outreach, fund-raising and events in that region.

Lexmark International: Robert J. Patton has been named vice president, general counsel and secretary. Patton joined Lexmark in 2001 as corporate counsel. In this new assignment, he is responsible for the worldwide operations of the company's legal department. Before joining Lexmark, Patton spent 15 years at Xerox Corp.

Neogen Corp.: Andy Smith has joined the firm and will focus on sales in the company's ethical market.

Re/Max Elite Realty: Barb Sheerin, Bernie Mullins and Maggie Taylor have joined the company as Realtors. Sheerin is entering her fourth year as a Realtor and is an Accredited Buyers Representative, Quality Service Certified and recently became a Certified Tourism Ambassador for the Bluegrass area. Mullins has seven years' experience as an investor/Realtor. He has been a multimillion-dollar producer for several years. Taylor is Quality Service Certified, an Accredited Buyers Representative and is a lifetime Million Dollar Club member.
