Education

Hindman Settlement School: Brian K. Lewis, a building contractor from Viper, has been named to the board of directors.

Sullivan University: David Keene has been named executive director of the university's Lexington campus. He was most recently director of the Louisville campus of ITT Technical Institute.

University of Kentucky: Jimmy Stanton has been named executive director of public relations and marketing. For the last eight years, Stanton served in media relations with the Houston Astros Baseball Club.

Finance

Fifth Third Bank: Mark Kaufmann has joined the bank's commercial department as head of the middle market team. Bill Greeley has joined the bank as a senior equine adviser. Peter Nesmith has been named an area sales manager for Fifth Third Mortgage. Rob Ruddick has been named the banking center manager for the Fortune Drive location.

BB&T: Teri Fox, a marketing manager who joined the bank in 2006, has been promoted to vice president.

Crowe Horwath: Brandon Keenon has been named a staff accountant in the firm's business tax unit. Joshua Lynn has been named a staff member in the firm's financial institutions group. He is responsible for Interim 2 and year-end 1 control testing, reconciliation testing and analytics for Crowe's clients.

Kentucky Bank: Linda Reed has joined the bank's lending department as a mortgage originator. She will be based in Georgetown and will serve Clark and Scott counties.

Health care

Signature HealthCare: Ron Phillips has been promoted to area regional chaplain for Eastern and Central Kentucky and all of Maryland and Pennsylvania for the long-term care business. Phillips was formerly a chaplain in Owensboro and has experience as a doctrinal writer and a manuscript researcher for Christian organizations and authors.

Mayfair Manor: Jesse Baldridge has joined the long-term care facility as a part-time chaplain. He has 30 years' experience in the long-term care industry and also serves as a youth minister.

Organizations

Kentucky Women in Agriculture: The following have been named new officers for 2008-2009: Jenny Inman, Daviess County, president; Sharon Furches, Calloway County, secretary; Sandra Gardner, Anderson County, reporter; Pam Pilgrim, Wolfe County, District 2 delegate; Mattie Clay, Franklin County, District 4 delegate; and Linda Dickerson, Warren County, District 6 delegate.

Other

NDS Construction: Gabe Dadi has joined the company as a project engineer.

Thelen Associates: Lee James Czor has been named a senior geotechnical engineer in the firm's Erlanger office.
