Engineering

Engineering Consulting Services: Talina Mathews has joined the firm as director of energy and economic analysis. She was previously with the Kentucky Public Service Commission and most recently served as executive director of the Kentucky Office of Energy.

Nesbitt Engineering: Kirk McCauley has joined the company as a project surveyor/Autocad technician in the company's Prestonsburg office.

Finance

Crowe Horwath: Sarah Allen and Lee Brown have been named to the assurance and financial advisory staff. Steven Christensen has been named senior staff, tax. Casey Mudd has been named to the financial institutions staff.

Organizations

Bluegrass Tomorrow: Eastern Kentucky University president Doug Whitlock has been named to the four-member executive committee.

Kentucky Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators: The following have been named board members for 2009-2010: Lana McGinnis, Sturgill, Turner, Barker & Moloney, president; Sherry Downey, Alber Crafton, vice president; Jane Spiegel, Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, secretary; Debbie Snellen, Reed Weitkamp Schell & Vice, treasurer; Jackie Warner, Commonwealth Attorney's Office, past president.

National Trust for Historic Preservation: Helen Dedman, Harrodsburg, has been named to the board of advisers for a three-year term.

Other

Aramark Sports, Entertainment and Conventions: Michel Hill has been named executive chef for Aramark operations at Applebee's Park, home of the Lexington Legends. He will oversee culinary operations for the Maker's Mark Club, suites and concessions. Hill also serves as executive sous chef at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.

Gallatin Steel: Tobin Pospisil has been named president of the flat-rolled carbon steel producer in Ghent. Chuck Greene has been named general manager of operations. Mark Santen has been promoted to general manager administration. Sarah Zimmerman has been named general manager finance.

IMG Associations: Agnes Amos has been named to the association management company's leadership team. She will be part of the executive team for the National Tour Association.

Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance Agency: W. Richard Davies has been named an agent in the company's office located at 121 Prosperous Place.
