American Founders Bank: Douglas Sharp has joined the bank as vice president/general counsel. He will be based in the bank's North Hurstbourne office in Louisville and will serve all locations in Lexington, Louisville and Shelbyville.

Traditional Bancorp.: Grover Carrington has been named board chairman. Norman Brown has been named vice chairman of the board. Spears Stilz has joined the board of directors.

United Bank & Trust: Matt Osborne, vice president, has been named senior credit officer for the bank's Nicholasville market.

Body Recall: Consultant Wendy Hechemy has been named a member of the Berea-based nationwide fitness organization's board of directors. Jeff Rubin has been named executive director.

Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute: Don Sebastian, partner and principal broker of Prudential Commercial Real Estate with offices in Lexington, Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio, has been elected to the commercial real estate association's board of directors.

Children's Charity Fund of the Bluegrass: Kim Sweazy, community relations specialist for Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, has been named chair of the board of directors.

American Board of Occupational Health Nurses: James J. Cooley, director of business health for Georgetown Community Hospital, has been selected to the organization's board of directors.

Kentucky Optometric Association: Dr. Matt Burchett, a Lexington optometrist, has been installed as the Bluegrass Optometric Society Trustee.

iBloom: The following associates have joined the Lexington-based life coaching practice: Tara McClenahan, Lexington; Leigh Ann Napier, Lexington; Betsy Ringer, Louisville; and Lori B. Snider, Evansville, Indiana.

Kentucky Bride: Julie Wilson has been named editor-in-chief of the biannual publication.
