Education

Campbellsville University: Shajuana Rosalia Ditto has been named an admissions counselor for the university. Ditto graduated from CU with a bachelor of science degree in sports ministry and athletic coaching.

International Journal of ICT Research and Development in Africa: Blessing Maumbe, an associate professor in Eastern Kentucky University's Department of Agriculture, has been named the editor in chief of the new academic journal focusing on the use of information communication technologies in agriculture and rural development. Maumbe, who previously taught at Cape Peninsula University of Technology in South Africa, holds a doctoral degree in agricultural economics from Michigan State University.

Finance

Teewinot Asset Management: Buckner Woodford IV has been named an investment adviser representative. He brings 37 years of executive and financial experience to the firm and will develop client relationships for the firm's Absolute Return strategy.

Organizations

National Association of Broadcasters: Kentucky native Steve Newberry, president and CEO of Glasgow-based Commonwealth Broadcasting Corp., has been elected chairman of the Washington, D.C.-based association's joint board of directors.

Other

ABC Supply Co.: Laura McCoy of Lancaster has been promoted to managing partner. McCoy joined ABC Supply in 2002 and was named manager of the Lexington branch in 2003. She will continue to oversee the Lexington branch.
