Summer Music Guide

We can pack your concert schedule for months

By Walter Tunis Contributing Music Writer

Hope you didn't already have plans for the summer — because, well, we sort of had a few ideas. In fact, we have more than 150 of them.

That's roughly the number of pop concert events that we discovered are on the books for our annual Summer Music Guide.

There's Joe Cocker and the Jonas Brothers, bluegrass and blues, Keith Urban and Country Joe McDonald, and four Williamses (dad Hank Jr. and kids Hank III and Holly — and the unrelated Lucinda).

From X to O.A.R., from Steve Miller to Merle Haggard, from Neko Case to the Forecastle Festival, they're all here.

Here's our list of more than 150 concerts from now to August.

With the exception of a few festival dates, specific venue, Web site and ticket outlet info is listed in the box at the right.

As always, if your favorite show requires a road trip, always call the venue before leaving. All of these shows are confirmed ... until they aren't. In other words, everything is subject to change.
