OFFICIAL RULES:
The contest begins Tuesday, February 12, 2008 and ends noon Tuesday, April 22, 2008. The entry deadline is noon Tuesday, April 22, 2008. To enter to win tickets for both dates, you must complete and submit an entry form for each date.
One entry per person to each date. Duplicate entries will be expunged. No purchase necessary. The prize: Two tickets to each performance of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, 2008, 8 pm, at the Opera House in Lexington, Kentucky.
By entering, you confirm and represent that you meet the age eligibility requirement of 18 years of age or older. You waive any potential legal claims, hold harmless and will not attempt to hold The McClatchy Company, Kentucky.com and the Lexington Herald-Leader, their employees, agents and assigns liable.
Employees of The McClatchy Company, the Herald-Leader and Kentucky.com, their distributors, contractors, agents, immediate families and household members are ineligible. Winners will be selected by a random drawing and notified by phone. Winners will be entrants reached in person by a Herald-Leader employee. Assumed notification by caller ID and any subsequent returned calls do not constitute a winner.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. No substitutions for prize.
By entering, you allow Kentucky.com and the Herald-Leader to use your name and address for marketing purposes, and the winners grant The McClatchy Company, Kentucky.com and the Herald-Leader the right to use their name and/or likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
Winners may be required to sign a statement of eligibility and a liability release prior to receiving the prize. Entrants agree that The McClatchy Company, Kentucky.com and the Herald-Leader, their subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents are not liable for, and will be held harmless against, any and all claims for injury, loss or damage of any kind, including, but not limited to, cancellation of the performance and/or event, resulting directly or indirectly from participation in this contest or from acceptance or use of any prize.
Any taxes and fees are solely the responsibility of the winner. By entering, entrants agree to and accept that Kentucky.com and Herald-Leader decisions regarding the contest, its rules, entries, winners and any revisions in the rules during the course of the contest, are final and binding. Void where prohibited by law.
