Among the many positives that came from Kentucky's victory over East Carolina a week ago in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, one is the most significant.
The middle of the season might not have been what Kentucky football wanted — the mere six victories, the SEC East cellar, the frustrating losses and the flop of a regular-season finish.
