Kentucky's Quigley named SEC men's tennis player of year
University of Kentucky senior Eric Quigley was named Southeastern Conference men's tennis Player of the Year on Thursday, and four of Quigley's teammates were also honored by the league. Kentucky's Dennis Emery was named SEC Coach of the Year.

Kentucky softball team drops season opener at UCLA
Samantha Camuso and Ally Carda each drove in a pair of runs, Kellie Fox added two hits and Jessica Hall struck out seven in a three-hit, complete-game effort, as No. 19 UCLA defeated No. 13 Kentucky 7-1 at Easton Stadium in Los Angeles in the season opener for both teams.
