You haven’t missed the chance to recycle Christmas trees

Lexington’s Division of Waste Management is continuing to collect natural Christmas trees and turning them into mulch. Residents who have city collection can dispose of their tree by setting it at the curb on their regular collection day on or before Jan. 27. The trees are being ground into mulch by employees of Red River Ranch, which has the contract with the city.
