UK recruiting target Kevin Knox just wrapped up his official visit to North Carolina, and he and his family will spend the next few weeks figuring out which school he’ll attend next season. Knox also is considering Duke and Florida State, and John Calipari has compared the 6-9 forward’s skills to those of Kentucky freshman Malik Monk.

Scott County Sheriff: Two to be charged in deadly hit and run

An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were expected to be charged Monday with tampering with physical evidence and leaving the scene of an accident after a fatal hit and run in Scott County, Monday morning. The victim was Donald Savage and lived on Sabin Drive, where the accident happened.

WWTF?! Sports is out, rock is in on Lexington radio station

Lexington-area sports fans were in for a surprise if they tuned in 1580 AM or 97.7 FM since Friday expecting to hear Fox Sports Radio or replays of Kentucky Sports Radio. Under the cheeky call letters WWTF, the all-sports outlets have changed formats to rock alternative, pumping out the sounds of Metallica, Disturbed and their ilk.
