Ex-teacher gets $500,000 settlement from Montgomery County schools

A former teacher at Montgomery County High School has received a $500,000 settlement after filing a lawsuit alleging the board of education and ousted superintendent Josh Powell retaliated against her. The settlement follows several others of more than $100,000 received by employees who worked under Powell.
