Singing goodbye to summer

The Daniel Boone Pioneer Festival starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday with a street dance in downtown Winchester. The weekend will include a 5K run, arts and craft vendors and live music. On Sunday, the festival closes with a concert at Lykins Park featuring Lauren Mink, Coralee and the Townies and Maddie and Tae. Concert tickets are $10 for adults, free for ages 8 and younger. Bring a blanket for an evening of live music with the DiMartino/Osland Jazz Orchestra, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday, on the back lawn of Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate, 120 Sycamore Road.
