Party's on at Ashland
Summer whites are suggested for the Ashland Lawn Party, Saturday at Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate, 120 Sycamore Road. Paint the town downtown
Art Connects presents Paint the Town with artists painting outdoor scenes in downtown Lexington from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday in blocks surrounding ArtsPlace at 161 North Mill Street. Summer Nights in Suburbia
Spend an evening at Summer Nights in Suburbia on Friday before it takes a break. Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, above, will perform a free concert 7 to 9 p.m. at MoonDance Amphitheater at 1152 Monarch Street. Bring a blanket or a chair and a picnic. Food and drink vendors will be on site. SummerFest takes over MoonDance July 9 through Aug. 2 with performances of Monty Python's Spamalot and William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors.
