'The Family': Culture-clash comedy has less culture, more clash

"The Family," a violent action comedy about a mob family in France thanks to the Witness Protection Program, ignores the fish-out-of-water possibilities and focuses on mining violence for laughs. The cast is first-rate, but the movie is lost except with delivering laughs with violence.
