Disney on Ice
“Dream Big” is the theme as Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Tiana, Jasmine, Aurora and Snow White take to the ice in Rupp Arena to make their dreams come true. Transy art show
Transylvania University’s Morlan Gallery in the Mitchell Fine Arts Building presents “Stories to Tell: The Work of Winfred Rembert,” Friday through Oct. 13. Rembert’s colorful paintings on leather sheets depict life in the pre-Civil Rights-era South. The artist will be at the opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Admission is free.
