The Jonas Brothers are coming to Lexington. (If you're a teen girl, you can scream now.)
Teen heartthrobs Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas will play Rupp Arena on Aug. 23 as part of a world tour that was announced Wednesday. The tour kicks off June 20 in Dallas and has American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and Honor Society as opening acts.
Tickets to the Lexington show will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. March 28 through Ticketmaster, 1-800-745-3000 and www.ticketmaster.com, and the Lexington Center box office, (859) 233-3535.
The price of tickets has not been determined.
Several Internet advance sales will allow fans to buy tickets before March 28:
■ Members of the Jonas Brothers fan club, Team Jonas, will have access to tickets at 10 a.m. March 23 to 10 p.m. March 27. Information about membership, which costs $34.99 a year, is available at www.jonasbrothersfanclub.com or www.teamjonas.com.
■ Citi Card holders will be able to buy tickets through the credit card's Private Pass program from 10 a.m. March 25 to 10 p.m. March 27. Go to www.citiprivatepass.com for more information.

The Jonas Brothers became stars in 2008 with the release of their album A Little Bit Longer. They also were recently nominated for a Grammy award for best new artist.
The trio previously played Rupp Arena in December 2007 as the opening act for the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus tour.
