Actors Theatre of Louisville unveiled its 2009-10 season schedule this week with numerous funny, escapist titles in the lineup.
■ Lookingglass Alice, Aug. 25-Sept. 19: Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre delivers an acrobatic take on Alice in Wonderland.
■ Dracula, Sept. 16-Oct. 31.
■ A Midsummer Night's Dream, Sept. 29-Oct. 24: Many observers say ATL artistic director Marc Masterson has been on something of a roll with his Shakespearean efforts lately. This time, he takes on the tale of the four lovers in a mysterious world.

■ Crime and Punishment, Jan. 5-31: Marilyn Campbell and Curt Columbus re-imagine Fyodor Dostoevsky's sprawling novel as a 90-minute drama.
■ Ella, Jan. 26-Feb. 20: A musical tribute to Ella Fitzgerald.
■ Humana Festival of New American Plays, Feb. 21-April 3.
■ The Cherry Sisters Revisited, March 18-April 18: Writer Dan O'Brien and composer Michael Friedman's story of a inept duo that became a vaudeville hit.
