Shrek The Musical finds Lexington Children's Theatre celebrating a rare milestone that's probably a first for a Lexington arts group: a 75th anniversary.
The city's next-oldest group is the community theater troupe Studio Players, which is 61.
To celebrate LCT's diamond season, the theater has programmed world premieres and time-honored classics. It also has planned some celebrations throughout the season, including a block party in front of the theater Aug. 17.
