A celebration of Hunter S. Thompson
Hunter S. Thompson, creator of gonzo journalism, will be inducted into the Kentucky Journalism Hall of Fame this year. This weekend, celebrate the man and his writing at GonzoFest in Louisville. Events include a concert by Frank Messina, The Bonemen and others at 8 p.m. Friday at the Muhammad Ali Center; tickets are $20. Greg Gutfeld signs his new book
Greg Gutfeld, a co-host of Fox News Channel's The Five, will be at Joseph-Beth Booksellers, in The Mall at Lexington Green, at noon Sunday to sign his latest best seller. Not Cool: The Hipster Elite and Their War on You is described as an amusing look at hipsters and their control of everything in our society, from politics to fashion. 'The Diviners' on stage
Bluegrass Community and Technical College Theatre will present The Diviners by Jim Leonard. The play is set in the early days of the Depression in a small Indiana town called Zion, where a stranger arrives and tragedy follows.
