Fido takes a bow
Hundreds of canines and handlers will compete at the Bluegrass Classic Dog Shows going on through Monday at the Kentucky Horse Park's Alltech Arena, 4089 Iron Works Parkway. Meetup at the Farish
Message Theatre launches its season with a three-weekend run of Jeff Stetson's The Meeting at the Farish Theater in the Central Library, 140 East Main Street, starting this weekend. The play presents a fictional meeting between Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays through Sept. 14.
