Around the remote: Chuck Barney's TV picks for Jan. 15-21

DON'T MISS: "Homeland" - The popular spy thriller takes on a timely feel as it returns for its turbo-charged sixth season. A new president has just been elected and former CIA agent Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) is now working for a Brooklyn-based foundation that provides aid to Muslims living in the U.S. The season, we're told, will deal with a transitional time where a "very fragile and complex transfer of power" takes place between the outgoing president and the incoming leader. 9 p.m. Sunday, Showtime.
