The Blu-ray box set of Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures has a newly restored version of Raiders of the Lost Ark plus the other three films, making it the first time all four movies in the franchise have been available together in high-definition.
For Indy freaks, there also are seven hours of bonus features, including nearly an hour of previously unreleased behind-the-scenes footage. OK, you can hum the theme now.
Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures retails for $99.98 on Blu-ray.
Maggie Gyllenhaal is the best thing in Tanya Wexler's comedy Hysteria, about the invention of the vibrator. Set in London of the 1880s, the film takes a light look at what was really a sad situation, that male doctors thought most female illnesses, from depression to menstrual problems, were caused by a mysterious ailment they labeled hysteria. The vibrator was not invented as a sex toy but to cure the disease.
Gyllenhaal plays a woman with moxie, ahead of her time, who runs a settlement house for the poor.
Hysteria retails for $30.99 or $45.99 Blu-ray.
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is one of those nicely tailored tea-and-biscuit movies with a well-appointed British cast — Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Tom Wilkinson and Bill Nighy in this case. It's the story of a group of retirees who think they are getting a deal at a luxury hotel in India but find it is something less than what they were led to believe. Still, being Brits, stiff upper lip and all that, they make do pleasantly enough and in the end so will the audience it's aimed for.
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel retails for $29.98 or $39.99 Blu-ray.
