Mayfest Arts Fair comes back around
The Mayfest Arts Fair, a Lexington Mother's Day weekend tradition, is Saturday and Sunday at Gratz Park and Transylvania University, at Market and Third Streets. The weekend will include artist booths, live music, dancing, food and drink vendors, and children's activities. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Cincy's Appalachian Festival marks its 45th year
The 45th Annual Appalachian Festival continues through Sunday at Coney Island Park, 6201 Kellogg Avenue, Cincinnati. It includes crafts, live music, a living history village and food. Local mixed martial arts contenders will gather at Heritage Hall for Bluegrass Brawl 12: Brawl for the Cure, with a portion of the proceeds going to Susan G. Komen of Lexington.
