State high school tennis tournament

Alex Atwood hit a return for Henry Clay as he and doubles partner Keifer Mays played St. Xavier on Wednesday in the team semifinals of the state tennis tournament. St. Xavier defeated Henry Clay 3-0 and will face Lone Oak in the state championship match.

Top boys' and girls' tennis teams and individual and doubles competitors vie for state titles at the University of Kentucky's Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex.
