Olympic softball gold-medalists Jessica Mendoza and Tairia Flowers are scheduled to conduct a clinic Tuesday in Lexington.
The clinic is scheduled to last four hours, 4-8 p.m., at the Bluegrass Fastpitch fields at Cardinal Park, 2000 Parkers Mill Road. In case of inclement weather, the clinic will move indoors to Champions on Nicholasville Road.
Cost is $120 per player.
Instruction will include hitting, defense, base running and mental preparation. Mendoza and Flowers also will share experiences and life lessons learned from the sport. A meet-and-greet autograph session is scheduled.
Mendoza is a two-time Olympian, four-time collegiate all-American and MVP of the 2007 World Cup.
Flowers won an Olympic gold medal in 2004 and won an NCAA title with UCLA.
