A Lancaster woman died late Saturday after a single-car crash in eastern Boyle County, police said.
Ramona Burdette, 49, was pronounced dead at the scene at Ky. 52 and Hubble Road, said Boyle County Deputy Sheriff Derek Robbins.
Burdette was driving a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am when the car apparently left the right side of the road, overcorrected and crossed the road, overturned and struck a tree with the roof of the car, according to a release. The car stopped near a pond but did not go in the pond, Robbins said.
No seat belt was in use. The accident was reported at 11:18 p.m. Saturday.
