Investigators are trying to identify a body found Saturday in a charred truck in rural Clay County.
Clay County Coroner Jim Trosper said Sunday the identification could take some time because of the body was so badly burned.
Kentucky State Police responded to a call Saturday afternoon of a burned truck in the Redbird Wildlife Management Area in the eastern part of the county. State Medical Examiner's office forensic anthropologist expert, Dr. Emily Craig, also was called in to assist officers.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the state police at 606-878-6622 or 1-800-222-5555.
