A man was arrested Thursday morning, accused of several burglaries at a southeast Lexington shopping center.
Police spotted Gregory Kinnaird, 24, about 12:30 a.m. near the Park Hills shopping center, 3120 Pimlico Parkway, shortly after a Great Clips hair salon and a pet-care shop had been burglarized.
Kinnaird ran from a police officer, who caught up with him at Man of War Boulevard. He tried to run again but was caught, Lexington Police Lt. Thomas Curtsinger said.
Kinnaird admitted to breaking into the Great Clips on Thursday and on two other occasions, Curtsinger said. Police are investigating whether other burglaries in the area might be related, he said.

Kinnaird has been charged with three counts of burglary, fleeing police, resisting arrest and possession of burglary tools.
