A Danville couple were arrested after three of their four young children were found wandering alone Sunday morning.
The three children were seen walking down Fifth Street toward Main Street at 8:26 a.m. One of them was naked, according to a press release from the Danville Police Department. They said they were looking for their dog.
Police found the children's parents, Danielle Adams, 22, and Harold "Amos" Adams, 29, at their home with another child.
The Adamses have been charged with three counts each of wanton endangerment.
The state Department for Community-Based Services was granted protective custody of the children.
