A Pulaski County man is accused of possessing thousands of images of child pornography and distributing illegal images to others over the Internet.
FBI agents arrested Jason C. Golden of Science Hill on Tuesday on a charge of distributing images showing minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to a court document.
The investigation began after Golden responded to an FBI agent who was using the Internet to investigate child pornography, according to a sworn statement from W. Cory King, an FBI agent in London.
Golden made images on his computer available to the agent through a file-sharing program and tried to download files from the agent's computer, King said.
In April, the agent communicating with Golden by computer saw he had more than 7,900 files available for sharing and downloading, King said.
